Preschool Teacher
Rochelle started dancing from 3 years old, at an early age she found her passion & love for performing. Rochelle's dance journey began at Cheryl Warwick Dance Academy; in her youth years she trained Glen Wood Tap Syllabus receiving all Gold awards & completed ballet exams with RAD ballet syllabus. Following that she was accepted into Jason Winters "The Movement'' contemporary dance program that competed at Nationals Dancelifeunite. She traveled to New York & LA to expand her knowledge by taking classes from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, The Edge Performing arts & Steps on Broadway. Shortly after, she took part in Star struck, Australian Dance Festival & worked many gigs as Disney suit characters/superheros/villains & face characters with Storybookpartyco.
She then trained full time dance at Lee Academy receiving her highest qualification of an Advanced Diploma in Dance (Elite Performance) followed by a Diploma in Dance (Acro & Aerial), Cert IV in Dance as well as a Cert IV in Arts Admin & Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management. Rochelle has taught dance classes, technique and circus programs ranging from preschoolers - seniors and is a very passionate, bubbly and dedicated teacher, she received her Cert III in assistant dance teaching during her senior years HSC at Hunter School of the Performing Arts.
Throughout her years of full time she has performed in immersive theater shows called Le Freak "The Forbidden Fruit", Behind the Curtain and 21). Team aKrobatika made it to the grand final in Australia's Got Talent in which Rochelle was proud to be a part of performing as an ensemble dancer (2019), artistically directed by Jo Cotterill. She has had the pleasure of taking part in Primal Dance Company seasons (2020-2023). She has been booked on many gigs, cooperates for Mardi Gras working for BMW mini and Sydney Cricket for International guest JAIHO. Rochelle has had the opportunity for tv/ promotional work for The Voice, Farmer Wants A Wife & AGT and was hired on a short term contract by Luna Park Sydney for Halloscream Xtreme as a Scare Actor. Rochelle loves teaching, her favorite part about the students is watching them learn, grow and achieve.
